Nanosol® is an innovative intracavitary aerosol chemotherapy system for the localized delivery of chemotherapeutic agents into the peritoneal cavity. Used exclusively with the sterile, single-use Nanowand®, the system transforms a physiologically compatible diluted chemotherapeutic solution into a fine aerosol, enabling targeted administration through a laparoscopic trocar during staging laparoscopy.
This localized aerosol delivery promotes improved intracellular and interstitial drug penetration, for the treatment of peritoneal surface malignancies including peritoneal mesothelioma, pseudomyxoma peritonei, gastric, colorectal, ovarian and appendiceal cancers.
